Pour sa collection Métiers d’art Chanel 2015-2016, présentée le 1er décembre à Rome, le créateur Karl Lagerfeld a réalisé un court-métrage intitulé Once and Forever qui raconte les coulisses mouvementée du tournage d’un film avec Gabrielle Chanel jeune, dites « Coco Chanel », incarnée par Kristen Stewart. A travers ce film, Lagerfeld voulait montrer différentes étapes de la vie de Coco, de sa jeunesse à sa maturité, avant qu’elle ne devienne l’icône qu’elle est devenue. L’actrice Géraldine Chaplin joue d’ailleurs le rôle de Coco Chanel adulte.
