Projection Artwork on a Shut Down Motel in LA

An ephemeral artwork by the contemporary French artist Vincent Lamouroux.

The “Sunset Pacific Motel” is a shut down motel in Los Angeles located in the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Bates Avenue, called “Bates Hotel” referring to its location and the hotel in the Hitchcock’s movie Psycho. référence à sa localisation et à l’hotel lugubre du film Psychose d’Alfred Hitchcock.
Latest April, the French contemporary artist Vincent Lamouroux chose to turn this building in a sculpture to scale of the urban environment, by covering it with ecological white paint. Material dissipates, changing gradually the installation’s aspect.
