The Sony World Photography Awards have announced the finalists for their Open and National Competitions, the awards that recognise the winners for each participating country. With over 340,000 images submitted this year, the SWPAs offer a look at contemporary photography and the major issues facing the world. Some of the competition entries will be on display from 13 April to 2 May at Somerset House in London, and you can view the entire collection on the competition website.
