Much ado about nothing is a calendar project realized by the agency RNPD for Rottag, a sheet metal forming company. The word Nothing refers to the wholes in the material created through punching or milling. Photographer Werner Krug took 12 impressive images of sheet skeletons. Boundaries between material and background are blurred, leaving room for interpretation. The result is ranging from ice crystals to 70s-wallpapers, showing that sheet metal pieces are much more than industrial trash.
