The Orbits Clock is outlined by 3 ultra thin circles. Each of these carbon fiber rod circles is actually a hand of the clock – hours, minutes and seconds.
As these jewelry-like hands pass through each other, they illustrate a different shape in space – smoothly varying from aligned planar circles and a sphere.
It is gentle, and actually holds more air than everything else.. Inspired by the way we model motion of bodies – the large orbits of stars and galaxies, the subatomic orbits of particles.
