PDBR is a visual artist and graphic designer who lives and works in Amsterdam. He is part of design duo Machine, famous for their dazzlings record sleeve designs.
The technique of etching has a grand tradition in the arts, used by artists ranging from Rembrandt to Hockney. Its delicate process involves a metal plate, wax, etching needle, acid, ink and a press. It is mastered only by few.
