Ellis is a minimalist design created by Italy-based designer Luis Arrivillaga. Ellis is the design of a traditional type of bar stool; it has a rounded tiangled seat disc resting on top of three long, canted legs. A beam that joints as a single piece into the front legs and a sotile shaft that intersects the third leg is mounted at about a third of the height from the floor, increasing the rigidity of the construction and also serving as a comfortable footrest.
