I can’t actually believe I made it. 365 days, 365 self-portraits, 365 new ideas, 365 memories! When I started this project, I knew I would be jetting off to Canada for 3 months, so I decided to leave my camera behind and come back with a head full of new ideas to try. While I was away, I kept a small diary of my experiences as well as my ideas so when I returned in September, I was raring to start taking photographs again. I have grown so much as a photographer since starting my 365 back in May 2009 and can look back and feel proud at what I have achieved in just over a year. I have met so many wonderful people here on flickr who have inspired and encouraged me and I have made some really lovely friends. So here are my thank you’s because without all the people that have helped me along the way, I would never be where I am! Firsly thank you to EVERYONE here on flickr for all your lovely comments and critiques, for your support when I had a bad day and your excitement when I had a good day! Thank you to my friends at home for coming out to shoot with me and helping me come up with new creative ideas; Fawn, Emily, Natalie, Dani, Claire, Vicky, the list goes on! Thank you to Kenneth for being such a wonderful friend. Thank you to Kate, Katie, Lauren, Jay, Laura and Samuel. Thank you to Ryan and Lexi. Thank you to Jonathan Bean who has been a huge influence in the path I have decided to take. Thank you to Kalie, Rosie and Logan for being massive inspirations. Biggest thank you in the world to my boyfriend Aaron, who put up with my complaining when I couldn’t think of an idea, who treked out with me into various locations to take my photo, who came up with ideas, who encouraged me, who was always there for me and who without, I don’t think I would have made it to the end! And lastly and most importantly, thank you to my family. You have been so encouraging of my passion and have supported me the whole way.
