At the weekend our friends Minh, Lan and their children Aysha and Thien came over to the house for lunch and a long promised family portrait session. We tried a few setups and these are a couple of pictures of the kids that I have the setup shot for.
We had Aysha and Thien sitting on a fold out table (with Mum behind them). For the main light I used the
Death Star DIY 50" soft box with a D-lite 4 and my small (relatively) soft box with an SB-28 for fill. On the background I had another SB-28 with a green gel and for the shots of Aysha I had a gridded SB-28 with an orange gel pointing at the back of her head as a hair highlighter.
Thien is only 10 months old so he was a bit of a wriggler, Aysha is three and was delighted to pose for the camera. Definitely a superstar in the making! :)
