Strobist Information: This is my first attempt at hi-speed photography using a Schmitt Photogate Trigger from www.hiviz.com/ as recommended by Bald Monk. I am not making any claim on hi-art or outstanding creativity here, more just a proof of concept and a test to see how everything works in practice. The first picture, Aqua Man, was simply water dropped from a drinking straw into a bowl. There was a single red gelled SB-28 behind on 1/64th power and another in front again on 1/64th power. The other two pictures, Molton and Distant Worlds were as per the setup in the picture above. Now that I have everything working, I will rebuild the trigger circuit on a breadboard and put it in a project box.
