Strobist Information: The ladybirds are sitting on a black tile purchased from Bunnings Warehouse (Australian equivalent of Home Depot in the US and B&Q in the UK) for $2.50. Two SB-28's, one behind and to the right and one in front and to the left, both fired by PW's. The back one is being fired through a translucent umbrella and the front one is being fired through a translucent umbrella and the diffuser part of a five in one reflector (there was no real need for the diffuser, it was just there from another shot and I didn't bother to move it). I came across the ladybirds in a dollar shop. They came in a pack of 15 for a couple of bucks and are some kind of "craft" accessory.
