Project 365 Monday • January 11, 2010 For the last three days I have been knee deep in computer parts and debris. My ailing barebones desktop gave its last gasp. I really won't miss it as it sounded like a jet engine taking off on boot up. I swapped it out with Jackie's Dell XPS 400 (which, though also an older system, is definitely much faster) but upgrading to Windows 7 launched a 3-day journey (descent). To be continued… While the computers laid around me in jumbled disarray I grabbed the camera and photographed this lovely little peacock origami. Jackie made this for me a long time ago and it has an had an up-front position on my desk ever since. I was actually looking at it and hoping it would somehow multiply so that I could buy a better computer!
