Amphitheater
Waking up early (4:30 AM) in Bryce Canyon National Park has it's benefits--you get to experience the chilly, refreshing, high-altitude air, drive at high speeds through a national park, and get stunning, soft-light shots of the Amphitheater from Bryce Point. Take a little time to study the proportions in this image: Notice the hiking trails winding through the hoodoos, which are dwarfed by the trees, which are, in turn, dwarfed by the hoodoos. Quite amazing. See one of the spires up close. This one really must be experienced in large and on a black background. • Large On Black • paulomernik.com
