Waking up early (4:30 AM) in Bryce Canyon National Park has it's benefits--you get to experience the chilly, refreshing, high-altitude air, drive at high speeds through a national park, and get stunning, soft-light shots of the Amphitheater from Bryce Point. Take a little time to study the proportions in this image: Notice the hiking trails winding through the hoodoos, which are dwarfed by the trees, which are, in turn, dwarfed by the hoodoos.
