Palimpseste

On friday, december, 10th 2010. Rennes (France) i had an appointment with the artist Zilda whose i had the pleasure to be invited for the Palimpseste project. Palimpseste, far from galleries and museums is crying an urban poetry. Then gathering some pieces of art created for the ephemeral. Art which rub out, crumble and live.. piece after piece on the same wall. Each of these pieces claim to play with time and space. Each of these pieces claim to graft punctually a bit of her universe to share. This one didn't has time. Living just for some hours.. this piece was stolen with care during the night. We love when walls are talking, when they are telling a story... This wall was quickly naked with for sole testimony, some photos and the look of passers-by. Art of the streets has to be free and for everybody, this art has to stay at his place.. the street, to live and to play with time.. Not for the pleasure of only one person who by this act doesn't give the value that it deserves and who make it lose all his sense.
