Herbert Bayer Inspired Design - Twisted Colour

Being self-taught and fairly new to design I do miss out on some of the greats. Herbert Bayer is one of these. This piece I did here is inspired from a greetings card I saw today with a design of his on, called Chromatic Twist (see below - this is such a great design and really gives the impression of tension in such a simple form). Bayer was one of the individuals most closely identified with the famous Bauhaus program in Germany and designed a new Sans-serif type called Universal which helped to define the Bauhaus aesthetic.
