Don't Make Her Angry. You Wouldn't Like Her When She's Angry

This is the medium format version of a digital shot I posted a few months back. I don't do that so much, anymore, take the same shot with different cameras. Right now I'm of the opinion that each of my cameras has a different, distinct purpose. The digital is for loose shooting, experimenting, playing around, catching fleeting moments. The medium format is more of a "big picture" tool, capturing the beauty in a larger scene. And the Polaroid? That there is all about the close-up. I've locked into the idea that a Polaroid camera that Can focus at 10 inches away should Live at 10 inches away. None of these are rules, mind you, just where my process is at this particular moment. When I've got to get the shot? The 5D. When I want the most beautiful shot possible? The Mamiya c330. And when I feel like reminding myself that there's magic in these here hands? Nothing like a Polaroid 680.
