The shoot on Sunday was massive. Great location: the park in Malibu. Great team: Caitlin as model, Chelsea on the assist/and modeling (because she's wicked hot, too), and in a limited return engagement: Emily Van Ness, back from her second year soaking up all SCAD has to teach. And she brought this guy. Who I kind of didn't expect to like. I dunno, a 19 year old girl's college boyfriend? She's awesome, but I remember college, and I remember college boys. But Alan here is a solid guy. A guy I got no problem going steady with my 1st and still favorite assistant. He's a smart kid, knows his movies, ain't afraid to spit out an opinion or turn off a black man's iPod when he wants us to hear a song. Risky move, Alan.
