Kara looks pretty darned serious in most of the photos we took on friday, but that girl is actually mostly giggles and wide ol' grins. She had herself a blast standing on my bed, posing against my 1000-strong Polaroid wall, and, yes, taking her clothes off. A fact that would've had a younger me stammering & sweating. But it is the way of things that many folks just plain like not wearing clothes. Me, I come from conservative stock, when we're talking clothes-on or clothes-off. But I have definitely begun to appreciate those who are more from the "i wish i was naked all the time" camp. Because someone who is this comfortable in their own skin, showing their own skin, can be a helluva model. Can open themselves up to broad movements, expressive gestures, can move unselfconsciously.
