I'd had a mixed record with ladies from Model Mayhem. Some had been awesome, some just alright, a few downright lame. And then there were the bunches that either never responded to an email or responded once and then never again. But there're just so many women on there! It seemed foolish not to keep trying to make that place work for me. And so, on Richard's recommendation, I contacted Kara. And damned if she isn't awesome. There's just something about this lady's face that I seriously dig, and add to that her absolute comfort as a model, her easy-going manner, and her willingness to drive to me, that there is a winner. Which brings up the fact that I've gotten oh so lazy of late, many of my "first shoots" are here at my apartment, because a) great big green hedgewall which serves as an excellent backdrop and b) how awesome is it not to have to go anywhere to shoot somebody!!!! With any luck, shooting Kara again this weekend, slightly farther away than my front yard. Anybody else have good experiences w/Model Mayhem?
