Carré, Yesterday

Yesterday I gathered up a crew, headed over to an abandoned shipping yard and took myself some photos. This is a shot of Carré from that shoot. That's yesterday, in a nutshell. I just woke up, so I'm almost ready to leave it like that. But then I'd feel bad about neglecting to mention that this beautiful warm light is due to Chelsea, who's using her reflector (because she said it was better than mine, and was determined to prove it...and yes, she's right, hers is better, whatever, I don't care {cries}). I'd be missing an excellent opportunity to tell you about Carré, who I was shooting for the first time in a good month and a half? Who wasn't even really there for me, but for Laura, who needed Carré for some paid work. Which means I should probably also mention Laura, who, despite the fact I'd scouted this place and thought I'd figured all the good parts in which to shoot, found herself a perfect little patch of large grass that made me jealous the minute I saw her shooting there. Ooh, and then there's Caitlin. You remember Caitlin, I posted a photo of her last week. She was there, too!!! Oy vey, such good shots of her I got. I'll tell you, she's either one of my best models ever (being willing to sit in a burnt-out car, on the dirty ground, hit with serious reflector light, hug a graffiti-ed wall, pretty much anything I could think of, she was willing to do), or a serial killer just lulling me into a false sense of security before she slides a knife between my ribs. But seriously, there are worse ways to go. So that's the shoot, in a slightly bigger nutshell. And look! Behind the scenes photos! Carré! Laura!
