So what's a guy to do when his plans for a Saturday have turned to so much rainwater running down into a drain? Go shoot his muse, that's what. I figured, with this fancy digital, that I could go and shoot her indoors, just shoot to make myself feel a bit better. And what do you know, it clears up. Science-dammit. At the same time, bunch of friends were going to my favorite Mexican place for lunch, so we decided to meet up with 'em. Along the way, I happened (because Laura and I were doing what we end up doing so often, talking photography until we're blue in the face) missing the turn. Which is how we ended up at the graveyard. BUM BUM BUMMMMMM. You see a place like this, right off the street, tombstones jutting out awkwardly from the uneven ground, not a soul there, trees huge and gorgeous, you see a place like this, you stop thinking about glorious Mexican food, about how your giant shoot got canceled by fucking water from the sky.
