Surprisingly, Ellicott City has maintained their Main St. very well. Most of the original houses and shops are now boutiques and "vintage" stores, but they haven't torn anything down and it's a quite charming few blocks. The telephone/power poles have gotten taller, but that's about it. As with most of these survey style photographs, the source image was taken in the middle of the road, which means I was dodging traffic the whole time trying to duplicate it, which is why the left side is a little off. It's close, though. There's some ugly post-processing done on this shot because the image was quite backlit. I have got to stop taking these in the late afternoon.
