Expired item, saved for reference. More armchairs on The Mid-Century Modernist » Here are a couple Danish chairs I purchased a couple years ago. I haven't ever used them and I have them in storage covered. Initially I had the idea of putting new upholstery on them but I moved and now don't have the space for them. I don't know what type wood they are. They could possibly be walnut. They are fairly sturdy and not cheaply made. If you notice in the pictures, the backs and arms have a nice curved design. The upholstery will need to be replaced; they're shedding. You can probably do it yourself or have somebody do them cheaply. The backs and seats come of easily. So you shouldn't have a hard time re-upholstering them. If you look at the close-up shot, you can see the wood has minor wear but no real chips. I'm selling them for just what I paid for them.
