On Jaunary 24, John Nack dedicated a kind post on his blog to me: blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2007/01/fun_with_apple.html The post was takling about my "Heroes of the Electronic Revolution" Flickr set. Since then I wanted to reply with a portrait of John. As the last 3 months I dedicated so much time on the new Adobe Creative Suuite 3, I found it good to make a portrait of John made out of CS 3 icons. Credit must go to Mike Downey who shut the photo of John I used www.flickr.com/photos/mdowney/212801382/ The portrait is made with all the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium icons in Mac OS X. I extracted all these icons and saved them as a QuickTime movie file. Then I used custom scripts in Synthetik Studio Artist to make the mosaic. I created 4 different portraits, with 128 x 128, 64 x 64, 32 x 32 and 16 x 16 pixels size. Then I used Adobe Photoshop CS3 to make the final composition. Hope John like the portrait. UPDATE: It seems that John did like the portrait. Read more here: blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2007/06/my_life_as_a_cs.html Thanks again, John.
