Dan Sadgrove traveled in 2015 more than 5 000km through the USA, from California to Louisiana, and back. His journey is inspired by the book of William Least Heat-Moon, “Blue Highways: A Journey Into America”, who traveled in the 70s approximately 13 000km through back-road highways by avoiding cities, a solitary journey full of experiences and life lessons, which reminded him what America is. The narration is by Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, he tells extracts of this famous book.
