Surprise! For her birthday, on Friday, December 3, Angèle released her new album, “Nonante-Cinq”, a week before the date initially planned. A great gift for all her fans enriched by a beautiful collaboration with Damso sealed by a video with a twirling atmosphere. In an Instagram post she explains her choice to release the album ahead of schedule: after a week of Covid, she reflects on her special 25th birthday year. Still affected by the virus, the young singer said she did not want to celebrate alone and wanted to organize a virtual party on Instagram with Damso, Pomme and Tristan Salvati during which she unveiled this new opus.

The duo enjoyed working together as Angèle explained on NRJ: “We didn’t get into it at all. I had done this production the day before at the ICP, in a studio in Brussels, which I love in which we had recorded ”Silence”. A place that Damso likes a lot too. It’s a bit like home for him. I asked him if he was interested. He was very hot, he came, he put his text. As usual, in thirty seconds it was done. I am too happy with the title.”
