Nintendo today announced Nintendo Labo, essentially a kit for users to build their own peripheral accessories for the Nintendo Switch . The kit allows players to insert the console and its Joy-Cons into designated pieces of cardboard to make robots, fishing rods, and 13-key pianos, to name a few. “Nintendo Labo combines the magic of Nintendo Switch with the fun of DIY creations,” of which the company then refers to as Toy-Cons. Once you build these kits, the Switch is used to power it, allowing owners to play games with their creations. Nintendo Labo will debut April 20, with two different sets available at launch.
