My favorite flower: Iris, in any color, though I prefer purple. I have been waiting for these to open...when I went to sleep last night, the buds looked as though they may explode, and explode they did - they were completely open this morning. What a wonderful way to start the day! I was so busy today, and only had time to take a quick shot, so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to spend some more quality time with my favorite flower.
