Photographer Carlos Jimenez Varela combines royalty-free images and his Photoshop skills to create surreal scenes of wild animals roaming city streets. Varela played with the scale and proportion of each animal to the architecture, resulting in KingKong-sized pandas hugging the sides of buildings, or gigantic snails slithering along the highway. To give the project a cyberpunk aesthetic, the artist bathed each scene in the glow of neon lights. More on Varela’s website, Behance and Instagram.
