James Gilleard, mentioned earlier in two of our articles, is an English illustrator based in London. A unique artist whose graphics combine old-school and futurism, who has collaborated with big customers such as Mercedes-Benz and Ikea. His works and characters with geometric curves are reminiscent of the cartoons, comics and posters of the 1950s, a period that certainly influences his work and that the artist adulates.
The illustrator recently created a series of drawings for Jess French’s book “Saving Species,” where thirty-eight species of endangered animals are examined, as well as conservation solutions adopted to address the problem and save them. There are polar bears, orang-utans, bees and many other species that will educate the youngest public about the importance of defending the environment.
