Based in Budapest, Hungary, Tamas Kanya creates mandalas. These mandalas are original to say the least, as they are composed of natural elements that the artist collects during her walks along the Danube. “I only use natural seasonal elements: plants, flowers, seeds, acorns, pine cones, shells, pebbles, leaves, etc. I collect everything that is available to me. I collect everything that is available, in the immediate environment, where I create my pieces and I always try to make something new, unique”, he explains. For him, this activity represents a meditative and relaxing hobby, in a pleasant environment where he feels happy.
