After the superb Ask the dust, Romain Veillon comes back with a second book Green Urbex: le monde sans nous, published by Albin Michel. It contains more than 200 photographs that he has taken in recent years. “What would the earth look like if a man suddenly disappeared? Throughout the pages, you will see the floors covered with dust, the walls crack, the wood rot and finally the vegetation invade little by little these places that were once full of life; reminding us of the necessity of a harmonious life with our habitat, which will not be able to resist for long to the ecological pressure that the Man makes it undergo. Through this journey, I take you with me to discover these palaces, castles, factories, churches, theaters…  Abandoned and forgotten by all“, he explains.
