Based in Nottingham, Nupur Dasgupta grew up watching “The Little Mermaid”. A film that now inspires him a work with a surrealist aspect, representing a lake where a mermaid appears, surrounded by a colored wood. The latter is composed of vegetable moss, which explains the green color of its composition. The aquatic part required resin. Every day, Nupur makes many works in foam. They do not need to be watered, exposed to the sun, or enriched with fertilizer and last in time.
