The latest installation by Katharina Grosse is a vast kaleidoscope within the German museum Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart. A huge multicolored sculpture that explodes the barriers of space by sublimating the place.
From the walls to the floor, from the inside of the shed to its exterior, “It Wasn’t Us” stretches over the site of a former railway building. As visitors walk through the work, abstract forms swell in different directions, creating a new visual at every angle.

“It Wasn’t Us” will be on display in the Berlin Museum until October 1, 2021. To learn more about Grosse’s work, a monograph will soon be released or see his Instagram.
