Jo Brown is a professional illustrator from South Devon, England. In her enchanted journal, the artist illustrates the natural world. A world that inspires her and that « can be found anywhere and everywhere, from the ‘weeds’ in the garden to the wilds of Dartmoor », as she explains. This journal is, in fact, an illustrated memory of her discoveries in the order she finds them. While not everyone can have the same patience and quiet observation, her work allows us to share with her the « Secrets of a Devon Wood », which is also the title of her actual book. The latter is an exact replica of her original black Moleskine journal.
