It was in the archipelago of Western Sweden that Tobias Hägg, aka Airpixels, realized his “Islands in the West” project. After an assignment for Google and SJ (a local railway company) that took him to the islands along the coast, the Stockholm-based photographer and videographer went back over there to discover more about this unique region. Tobias Hägg, who describes himself as an “aerial artist”, immortalized two islands located in the southwest of Bohuslän province. Seen from the sky, the houses of the village are located between land and sea, encircled in the rocky landscape of the archipelago.
