A spectacular building illuminates the town of Gwanggyo, south of Seoul.

Between the classic grey office buildings, the facade of a high-end Korean department store catches the eye. Designed by OMA/Chris van Duijn, the Galleria Shopping Center features a stone mosaic façade and a series of geometric windows for a spectacular look. The building also has a roof garden.

The building is said to be inspired by Lake Suwon Gwanggyo, an urban green space that surrounds a small body of water.
