In honor of the holiday season, WAY Studio has combined with Moody to install a beautiful creation on the storefront of a redeveloped area in Shanghai.
The giant balls of yarn appear to come from inside the store and jut-out over the pavement toward pedestrian commuters. The installation is found near the main Bund area of Shanghai, on a building constructed all the way back in 1927. The structure and building itself creates a fusion of ‘new classical and electicism architecture’.WAY’s goal was to break the traditional festive storefront window display look and they certainly did here.
