“Above” transports who looks at it, in an extraterrestrial atmosphere in the litteral sense. This short film is the second personal project of its creator, Harrison Vincent: an art director, motion designer and 3D artist. Here, the viewer is witnessing a miniature space odyssey, which toys with scale and perspective. “This challenging/rewarding personal project is a study of texture, atmosphere, and proceduralism“, says Vincent. On the artist’s website, an interesting preview on the creative process can be watched. The opportunity to realize the necessary steps to achieve such an interesting result.
