Vast residential complex located in Calpe, Spain, the Red Wall, designed between 1963 and 1973 by the architect Ricardo Bofill, skilfully combines the mediterranean and oriental styles. With his series soberly titled “La Murralla Roja”, the Spanish photographer Andrés Gallardo Albajar, currently established in Estonia, takes us on a tour between its ocher and pastel walls, its geometric shapes and its multiple staircases. Not to mention, of course, the blue of the Mediterranean see bordering the residence.
