Lisbon-based architecture studio Aires Mateus, led by two brothers Francisco and Manuel, recently completed the construction of an almost invisible house in southern Portugal. Made for an individual, it is surmounted by a roof of greenery, allowing it to blend in with the surrounding landscape, a large natural site located not far from Lake Alqueva. The property of one hundred and seventy four square meters consists of a central courtyard, the junction point between all the rooms of the house: Three rooms, as well as several circular patios allowing natural light to pass through.
