Sitting on the seat of a car, Brooklyn-based photographer Eric Van Nynatten transports us to the authentic, touristic streets of Old Havana, Cuba. The series, entitled “Havana Observations”, retraces a 2017 trip. The artist climbed into locals’ car to go around the city, or walked through the streets. In this series, the photographer plays with shadows and colorful facades, and take us on a road trip in the heart of the historic district.
