Toby Zeng moved from his native Beijing to California at the age of 14, and it was in these shores that he discovered his love for photography, first via his iPhone and later through a professional camera. His series Minimal Body is a photographic study of the body in individual parts as opposed to a whole. Using colour, shape, composition and light, he highlights unobtrusive components of the human body, encouraging us to pay attention to the small details that often go unnoticed. Zeng is currently pursuing photography at Bard College. Visit his website and Instagram for more of his work.
