If Italian gastronomy makes you salivate, revel in the illustrations by MariaTeresa Ingegnatti. The artist, based in Florence, offers indeed a taste journey, presenting colorful starters, first courses or even main courses, that we can almost smell. MariaTeresa made these « tasty meatballs », « pink ravioli », « sea’ lasagna », and « chicken casserole with olives » for an Italian cookbook. If her other illustrations can be very realistic, this time: « The client needed a kind of illustration a little bit vintage, so I’ve chosen to draw it with colored pencils and to not exaggerate with realism. That could be the right way to resemble an old Italian cookbook »
