Colombian artist Martha Pachón Rodríguez manages to tame material and textures and create sculptures as mysterious as astonishing. The ceramic artist, now established in Italy, superimposes layers of white and pigmented porcelain with great ability. The result is meticulous, elegant and intriguing. Small tooth-like lashes seem to adorn every sculpture, taking some kind of animal or vegetal shapes, leaving us with our own interpretation.

It’s «a mixture of human eroticism with animal nature», she says. And our gaze is captive of these seductive forms.
