The Royal Photographic Society unveiled its selection of winners, after having to choose from more than 7,000 photos. The jury praised the quality of the photographic work of the proposals, highlighting the freshness of the colours, the care taken with the subjects and their talent of course… Once 189 photographs had been selected, they were printed on paper to enable the jury to choose the 54 photographers who will be part of the travelling exhibition that leaves Bristol this month, then will travel to Birmingham, London, Dublin and Hull. This exhibition aims, particularly this year, to highlight the formidable capacities of photography to mirror the world, to reflect the diversity of actions and humanities that take place every day.
