Brigitte Schuster, a Swiss graphic designer and writer, recently published a book describing the funny phenomenon of cat ladders in Switzerland. In fact, the habitants have the habit of building ladders outside their homes, in order to facilitate the movement of their feline friends. Taking the example of the city of Bern, the writer shows how the builders of these ladders shows diversity and originality in their creations, from the simple wooden board to a much more elaborate course, allowing even the cats located in the upper floors of the buildings to go down freely in the street.
