US-based Studio Hardie teamed up with Nissan to release a mobile concept van for woodworkers and craftsmen worldwide. By fitting the cargo area of a Nissan utility van with proper workspaces and equipment, the collaborators created a vehicle that would allow craftsmen to practice their trade while on the road. The van’s design includes storage boxes for tools, retractable work benches and wall-mounted lamps. While the project still remains a prototype, it’s definitely something we can see benefiting artisans and craftsmen in the future.
