Navid Baraty left a career in engineering for photography, a move that’s certainly paid off when you look at where it’s gotten him. Between exhibitions worldwide, to collaborating with an impressive client list, Baraty’s profile is a well sought-out one. Work-related projects aside, he continues to photograph subjects he is passionate about, and that includes travel. His latest series documents his visit to New Mexico’s White Sands National Monument, which he came across during a 7,200-mile roadtrip to 13 national parks around the western part of the US. Images of this unique and dramatic location show off nature in all its splendor, captured beautifully through Baraty’s lens. More on his website and Instagram.
