Photographer Jacob Howard’s love for minimalism translates generously in his latest series, Last Stop Before Insomnia. Taken in various locations including New Zealand, Fiji and Estonia, the project features dramatic isolated landscapes, from fog-covered hills to roads snaking between mountains. Each image is captured using a medium-format film camera, a slowed-down method that seems very much in tune with the quiet ambiance of his series. With such cinematic landscapes spread out before him, Howard simply documents what he sees, letting nature’s beauty speak for itself. More via Instagram.
